It most usually falls on the time of our family vacation, which was in California this year will all family members present.

The cost of the NACC has always been troubling to me. I tired of hearing for the pleas for more money in the offering when I had already forked over a major amount of money just to preregister and for transportation, housing and food. Of course my expectations of convention venues is probably much lower than most of our brothers and sisters--even my wife's.

I have always enjoyed the Convention. It is a useful time for fellowship, education and inspiration, but I tend to agree with your assessment.

Our Father's blessings,
TomAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7815675.post-41534625708098270752008-07-12T14:16:00.000-07:002008-07-12T14:16:00.000-07:00Hi Mike,Interesting comments. I've only attended on NACC and found it pretty good, but not good enough to get my to spend the money to go back.

I wonder if general conventions aren't on their way out. You can get most of the information they offer on the Net anyway. What seems to be rising is more specific, or specialized conventions (for church planters, etc.). Perhaps that's that's the wave of the future.

Either way, nothing on this earth lasts forever, perhaps the NACC's time is drawing near.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08131384819995848330noreply@blogger.com
